Cynthia was born and raised in Plymouth, MN. After high school she attended the University of Wisconsin-River Falls where she earned her B.A. in Journalism and English.
Cynthia joined Sandeen Insurance in 1989. With more than 25-years experience in the insurance industry, combined with a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation from the National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research, Cynthia has the knowledge and tools to provide her clients with sound insurance advice. As a Trusted Choice independent agent and multiple companies to work with, she can help evaluate and customize plans providing choices in coverage and premium.
In 2013, Cynthia was appointed to the West Bend Mutual Personal Lines Advisory Council and to the West Bend Mutual Customer Insight Team, where she recommends improvements to the company, and acts as a client advocate between the agency and insurer. Cynthia was also selected as a Travelers Insurance Personal Lines High Achiever and is a past recipient of New York Life’s “Be the Best” award.
Outside of work, Cynthia is very involved with the United Way St. Croix Valley. As a former Campaign Chair, and currently, as the Vice President of the United Way St. Croix Valley Board of Directors, she is proud of how the organization has helped strengthen communities in St. Croix, Polk and Pierce counties. In addition, Cynthia is a past member of the Zoning and Planning Committee for the Town of St. Joseph and was a part-time reporter for the Hudson Star-Observer. She is currently a secretary for the Hudson Chamber Leads group.
Cynthia lives in River Falls with her husband Roger. In their spare time, they enjoy traveling, genealogy, boating and golfing.
